Here is a 2-8-2 Mikado built by Lima in December of 1920 for NKP as #612. In May of 1922 it had a trailer booster added which bumped up the tractive force to 64,100 lb from 54,700 lb but removed later in 1950. In October of 1926, a BL feedwater heater and air pumps were added to the pilot deck. It was "laid up" (retired) in January of 1954 and eventually sold in August of 1954 for scrap to Luntz Iron & Steel. This is a Prescott photo. |
