Alco-Richmond, built this sturdy little 0-6-0 yard switcher in April of 1913 as New York, New Haven & Hartford #2453 (serial #53430, class T-2b). The loco lasted only 23 years before being retired in June of 1947 and presumedly scrapped. Original specs - 200 psi boiler pressure, 18x26" cylinders, 51" drivers, engine wt of 143,700 lb and tractive forece of 31,286 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
